Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook author who has won Emmy Awards. She hosts the most popular Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for another 27 seasons. Ina began working at the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy as well as the budget. Although she initially found the position interesting and stimulating however, she began to get bored. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. Before selling the business the store, she worked for 18 years building it into a highly successful store. Several other books and magazines followed. The Food Network television program also was launched and soon became a hit. The company sells numerous products, from ingredients for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina never went to a cookery school nor worked in a restaurant. Her education is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her straightforward approach to cooking and effortless approach to entertainment. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
