Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Growing up in a family of artists in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. Her first job was as a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modelling and acting. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising actor. MacGraw became an international celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In just three films, she received the title of top female box-office start in the world. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw was married three times.
